About The Author
Harold E. Brady, a native of Marion, Ohio, enlisted in the U.S. Navy upon graduation from high school. He was honorably discharged in 1946. In 1991 after 41 years under appointment as a United Methodist minister, he was granted reitrement status. During these 41 years under appointment, he earned a Bachelor of Arts at Indiana Wesleyan University; Master degrees at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and the University of Wisconsin-Madison; and a Doctor of Education at the University of South Dakota. His ministries included 21 years as a local church pastor, 16 years as a college professor-administrator, and four years as Director of Development in a United Methodist retirement home. Since retirement, he served 10 years as an adjunct hospital chaplain and as a guest preacher in Sioux Falls area churches. He currently resides, with his wife of 59 years, at Bethany Meadows in Brandon South Dakota.
